Five-star finish for Corinthia Hotel London

Focus SB, known for its in-house finishing capabilities, was the natural choice for designers at the G.A Group specifying switch and socket plates for the elegant Corinthia Hotel London's five star guest accommodation refurbishment, which saw the conversion of 22 bedrooms into 11 luxury suites unveiled in 2018.
Winning the contract to supply one of London’s highest profile hotels yet again; the first time was for the Corinthia’s 2011 refurbishment, Focus SB, an established British electrical wiring accessories manufacturer, saw its popular ‘stepped’ Sheraton period plate style selected.
Focus SB’s high quality product portfolio, combined with its enviable ability to meet attention to design detail by offering continuity of finish across its plate style designs, saw the company develop a unique ‘Corinthia Bronze’ finish for the project at its state-of-the-art finishing facility, specifically to complement the beautifully reimagined London and Garden suite interiors designed by the G.A Group.
Perfectly suited to the grandeur of the former government building, Focus SB’s sockets and switches were manufactured for the Corinthia combining modern and traditional techniques, with products featuring black trimmed metal rocker switches and hand finished by the company’s skilled craftspeople. Products were specified throughout the hotel, residencies and spa, with luxury guest accommodation featuring bespoke bed head panels, matching metal cover plates for bedroom media centres as well as custom ‘do not disturb’ units with external bell pushes.
The award-winning 40-year old Sussex-based company offers an extensive product collection which can be seen installed in luxury hotels, royal palaces and private residences across the UK, China, Africa and the Middle East.
The Corinthia Hotel London features amongst several high profile hotel interiors in Focus SB’s hospitality projects portfolio; a key area for the manufacturer who, fresh from a successful Design Shanghai, recently made history by becoming the first, and only, European manufacturer in its industry licensed to manufacture and export to China.
